Dave Hague 7th Dan began his martial arts training in 1968 by beginning Judo practice, and joined the SKI (Shotokan Karate International) dojo in 1970.

It was then a member of the KUGB (Karate Union of Great Britain) and gave me the opportunity to train with Sensei Enoeda.   He left KUGB when Sensei Asano started SKI so he could continue to train with Sensei Shiro Asano.

He trained under Sensei Asano for about 18 years.

Sensei Asano regularly having visiting Japanese instructors to his dojo, gave him the opportunity  to train alongside many whom are now karate legends such as Kanazawa, Kato ,Mura, Shirai, Kasi, Kobara, and Sode, to name but a few, receiving all his grades up to and including Ni Dan from a variety of the top Japanese sensei: Asano, Enoeda and Kanazawa.

Currently affiliated to Jindokai, a martial arts society headed by Prof. Dr Stephen Chan OBE PhD 10th Dan Shorin Ryu.
